Last year the people were given eiither $300, $600 or $1200 as a bonus. The government was hoping the people would spent their money; which most did. If the President really wants to help the people give each person over 18 years old $25,000.00. Instead of bailing out the big businesses people would use this money to pay off their credit cards, buy a new car which they couldn't afford before, buy new appliances and etc. People would put this money to good use to help themselves. There isn't much a person can do with the small amount mentioned above. Let the people really help the economy; this would be more beneifical (sp) to all types of businesses. Yes, you are talking about a lot of money however really look at the benefits.
