Any Where any Time Dream Education Through Internet: Ultimate aim of technology is to fulfill the needs of the society. Everyone on this earth needs holistic education, training, skill development, re skill opportunities. Due to Globalization competition is inevitable, Continuous life long learning will be the future trend. While studying in schools and colleges, while working everyone requires latest knowledge. In traditional learning system we find limited scope for sharing tacit knowledge. Knowledge is waste only if it is not used or shared.
Current education system has its own limitations, one cannot choose his desired field, cannot study or choose favorite subjects. Also one cannot have flexibility in choosing teachers, lecturers and professors. In order to get degree or upgrade skills learners have to follow long time consuming system. For writing examination getting results learners spend their precious time. The other problem is attending compulsory classes. Now a days due to awareness and easy access to recourses there is no need for few learners to attend classes regularly.
My iDeA is to develop flexible education system to fulfill the needs of current generation. INTERNET university consortium has to be developed with unlimited subjects, unlimited tutors.
One can choose his desired subject, desired tutor and get world class education by sitting in his own place. By focused development of INTERNET software one can ask questions, clear doubts, interact with intellectuals, students and professors. One can select his preferred live case study sessions and can share ideas, probe etc. By designing flexible evaluation process examination process can be simplified without affecting the quality.
The other aspects are cost and Internationalization of education. Definitely cost of education becomes affordable. Learners from all over the world could undergo education using real time translation facility.
So many advantages, so many unmet needs definitely some foundation can sponsor to develop this dream come true INTERNET on line university. Specific software,hardware and gadgets required for the project could be developed by involving professors, software professionals, hardware professionals, students, college administrators. Convergence of all these leads to formation of IIEU through which customer evangelism is possible.
