Muchas veces en el sistema hospitalario se pueden cometer algunos errores por la falta de conocimiento de algunas contraindicaciones, alergias o algún otro problema de pacientes con ciertos medicamentos o tratamientos, por ejemplo,en una situacion de emergencia donde el paciente sea atendido en un hospital donde nunca había estado, si este tiene una contraindicación para algún anticoagulante y sufrió un accidente de tránsito el hospital no tendrá forma de saber eso hasta que el paciente haya sufrido reacción al medicamento, y como la mayoria de hospitales no han implementado sistemas digitales para el archivo y comunicación de historias clínicas me parece muy útil que cada paciente tuviera su historia clínica archivada en cualquier sistema electrónico y actualizada para que se agilizaran y mejoraran los mecanismos de ayuda y atención en emergencias.  


ENGLISH VERSION:

The hospital system can sometimes make certain mistakes because of a lack of knowledge regarding contraindications, allergies or any other problem patients may have with specific medicine or treatments. For example, imagine a patient arrives at a hospital for the first time, after having had a car accident. The hospital has no knowledge of a contraindication the patient has for the use of an anticoagulant, and has no way of knowing until they observe a reaction to the medicine. Since most hospitals have not yet implemented digital filing and communications systems for medical histories, I believe it would be very useful for every patient to have his/her own medical history stored in any electronic system, and updated to make things quicker and easier whenever they seek emergency support or treatment in a hospital.
