Many girls that are just starting their pointe education have a very hard time choosing their first ballet pointe shoes. Even more experienced ballet dancers are uncertain whether to change the model or brand they currently use (or have used since the beginning). I propose to have a facebook application named The perfect fitter. This application will ask for very particular information to the dancer using friendly images; the information will include: foot shape, toes length, type of arch, dancing experience, classes a week, among others. Having performed a previous analysis of a variety of sponsored models from different brands, the program or application will be able to recommend model-brand for each user. Thus, you may be able to try different brands or models and have a better pointe experience. The application will offer an increasing amount of visitors to the sponsored brands’ websites; as well as a direct benefit to ballet dancers and lovers offering a variety of models compatible with their type of feet and performance requirements.
