Most newspapers are advertising specials that include a bottle of bubbly, chocs, reduced hotel rates, and dinner for two. Secure your reservation now!! Let your sweetie know you are claiming his/her undivided attention at least a week in advance. Seal the deal with a SPECIAL DELIVERY midweek of goodies in a gift bag or basket. Include, sample fragrance, a splurge snack or two, something romantic to wear, a CD of your song, and a dvd. A purchased card, or personal letter would not hurt. Instructions should read "for when you ALL are mine." The day your weekend begins, pack for both of you, and put it in your car trunk. If you are the hubby, DO NOT forget the flowers, even a single long stem rose works for this. Dinner out is a great way to begin the trip. . .and mid-way to your destination, announce "consider yourself kidnapped!" Make sure you either eat out, or arrange room service. Once you have arrived and are settled in the room, you should be able to figure out something to do without further instructions. You will be reaping the rewards for days. . .
