Airports have spent lots of cash trying to prevent terrorists getting on planes, but have they trued a more low-tech, (but effective method nonetheless)?

Ask every prospective passenger: "Do you have a Bomb?"

most of the techniques employed at airports are based on evoking odd behaviour from those with something to hide.

Most people are crap liars, and if they do have something like this they'll show it.
Challenged with a direct and blunt question, how many would get away with it?
