Navegando por la página web del Museo de Orsay he descubierto que tienen un libro de oro para que los internautas pongan comentarios acerca del museo y de su página web. Los comentarios están a la vista y son accesibles para todos. Creo que sería una buena fuente de ideas para las instituciones sobre los aspectos mejorables y aquellos que tienen mayor éxito y aceptación. 

No se trata de un foro y no se admiten mensajes personales. Sin embargo, algunos posts están comentados por el moderador, que resuelve las dudas o agradece los cumplidos . 

Me parece un canal de comunicación utilísimo para acercar el museo al público, y una opción que cualquier museo presente en la red debe tener disponible.

I just found out that the Orsay Museum's website has got a "guestbook" where anyone can post his/her comments on the Museum and its website. The contents are public and it is an invaluable source of information for institutions, where they can find out what they're doing right and which aspects can be improved. 

It's not a forum and personal communication between users is not encouraged (personal messages are forbidden). Some posts, however, have comments from the moderators solving queries or thanking them for their contribution. 

I think this is an extremely useful communication channel, that helps to brings closer cultural institutions and its visitors. That's why I believe it's essential for every Museum or gallery to have a similar "visitors' book" on the Internet open to the public.
