This is Prof.Vijay from Bhopal,India.
Today just seen a problem posted on this wonderful site.
I wish to suggest the following ideas for effective environmental management.
1.house keeping to be done by dedicated staff and supervision check by a senior faculty from environment subject deptt.
2.students or the occupants should be grouped as quality circles and assign floors,rooms or sections as responsibility to each.
3.on every birthday or annivarsary or any festival day saplings/plants must be planted with display of name of the person doing so.
4.donate fruit bearing plants as birthday gifts instead of expensive flowers etc.
5.sign boards for NO Smoke Zones or No litter areas should be kept at EYE Catching levels.
6.Pl do Brain Storming sessions with peers and juniors for getting new ideas further.
