Throughout the world Concrete is widely used for construction purposes. All constructions put together constitutes the "INFRASTRUCTURE" of a nation. The question is "Is CEMENT easily available?". We are looking for alternatives like the combinations of flyash, rice husk ash, egg-shell powder, to help provide a substitute for the otherwise costly CEMENT ( if not now, it will become costly in the near future and also "look at the impact on enevironment".

In this context, I am suggesting the use of small strands of human hair (also minced human nails, poultry feathers) to be mixed with the other waste products mentioned in the previous paragraph to create a mix that can effectively minimize the use of cement in the making of the concrete. Human hair and poultry feathers are good organic fibres that can afford reliable strength to the concrete. This way, we can help the poor communities around the world to live in a sustainable way.

It is also possible to make bricks by mixing clay with these natural fibres alomg with necessary ingredients.

I am right now doing the relevant testing experiments. I have approached a Professor at IIT Madras to help me do the experiment. i don't know if I will be successful but I am confident that the lessons will be useful.
