Often the vegetable vendor signals his arrival by shouting so that everyone hears. How hard it should be for him or her to shout often. He or She may not be aware that it leads to serious health related problems especially for the vocal chords or lungs. For survival sake, they seems not to WORRY much about tht health. Surely we could do a bit to help them.

A small audio based device with a pre-recording feature and played at the vendor's discretion will go a long way to ward him or her off serious health problems. This device can be powerd by solar means or by means of mechanically powered battery. The amplifier's power requirement, even though a concern, in my opinion, may not be too much so that this device can be practically implemented and distributed to them.

However, Vendor can arrange time schedule for particular street. If buyer is aware about visiting time of the Vendor, s/he (vendor) doesn't need to shout.
