Like a mirror in a real store, you are able to see how you would look in the clothes if the online retailer took multiple images of the garments from different angles, which you could superimpose over the live video of yourself from your webcam. You then maniipulate the garment image for different angles to allign with your image (alter size, colour, etc.)so your monitor becomes a 'virtual mirror'.

When whales become beached after the tide has gone out, you often see people splashing water on it to keep it's skin wet, and wet towels placed over them...Which must be maintained for hours before the tide rises again, and then the whale heaved out if possible. But the bigger the whale, the less likely it is to survive, not least because they need to be surrounded by water to stabilise their weight and the position of internal organs.I suggest, upon seeing the whale on the beach, dig a large,...

I have always been intrigued, and sometimes concerned, to know what my computer is doing at any given moment. Because although there are functions like event viewer and program logs of this kind, and I can relate the increase in the work of the hard drive (and the light), the sound of goings-on inside the box and the fan to a specific operation I have set in motion by clicking on something, loading a program, or when one of it's scheduled tasks kicks in...

If we are to take the word 'racism' and look at the literal definition of it, then the 'ism' part signifies a systematic philosophical adherence to a set of beliefs based around the distinction of the 'race' part of the word. The term 'race' signifies a specific genetic ethnicity, evident in the colour of the skin, and other of the physiological differences that are specific to these genetic differences among groups or 'races' of people. So the term racism signifies a structured system of belie...

There are a number of places around the world recognised as "World Heritage Sites" ... and are afforded protection and funding because of their significance to the whole human story beyond even the borders of the nations in which they are to be found, so that they can be preserved for us and future generations as testaments to who we all are, and where we have come from... Stonehenge, the Pyramids (Egyptian and Mayan), buildings from the industrial revolution, ancien...

I just wanted to conduct this little experiment to see if people have a propensity to actively seek out reasons to be offended, hence the title.the idea is that people nearly always seem to complain or find in offence in things they must surely know may cause them offence before the look at them, even if they are clearly warned before hand, and instead of choosing not to be offended by not looking... and it seems there is never a shortage of people these days who will find offence in everythi...

Ever feel like you need a little time to yourself? ...A little space? The question is, how much time and space do we need?Perhaps we can find the answer by working it out with a formula.Firstly, let's think about the space we need. Most countries in the world measure rooms in a house using the metric system to measure in metres squared, but the height can also be used to define the overall space, giving a measurement in cubic metres... so lets use that as the basic unit of space. But obviously ...
