intead, you could buy a few cheap creative tools...feather boas, paper plates, glue and glitter and get people to make their own costumes and the person who makes the best costume gets free drinks the rest of the night or somthing?...
even look in a few charity shops for some cheap, but STATEMENT clothes that people could use?..aka clothes that you can understand why they have been given away!
