 Quite often we misplace our mobile phones or our purses containing money or credit cards. If the mobile phones or credit cards or the purses are blue-tooth enabled then, in the event of forgetting to pick up, we may be intimated by an alarming signal from our wrist watch which is also Blue-tooth enabled.  It is well known how mosquitoes bite. They use the needle like mouth-parts to stab through the skin of the victim. If it is genetically possible to avoid the growth of these needle like parts in the female mosquitoes it would do wonders.  Mobile phones are well known to be very power consuming during charging instances. It is often the case that the power supply is continued well after the phones get completely charged. In all office buildings or commercial complexes there is a way to save water (please correct me if I am wrong). The wash basin water  from an upper floor can be used to flush the toilets in a floor below.  The infrastructure cost is  a minimal one and we rely on gravity to push the water from one apartment above to the one below.
