If we designed a small pair of ballet shoes to roll into your bag, so small enough to have in a small purse, but good enough to protect your feet on the walk home from a good night out!! Perhaps there can be a bag for the after hour shoes that folds up with them, but can be expanded to fit the other shoes in it, and styled like a handbag with a purse compartment (so that their purse can fit inside and it won't look too tacky).
