Your idea sounds great. I can foresee some big hurdles you need to consider. I have worked with educations software here in the US. There is one thing we all know; University administrators hate to give up control. And they really hate open software and social networking because they lose administrative control. This will change, with time, but it is the truth of the moment. If you can figure a way to get your idea going without them as the gatekeeper (i.e. you need them to buy in) that would make your idea much more possible. Getting the educators of the great American Universities accessible to the rest of the word at a low cost is a great idea. Good luck with it
