Ana María Llopis, Founder and CEO of ideas4all ideas4all was created by Ana María Llopis, founder and CEO 1993-2000 of Openbank –Grupo Santander– (first Internet bank in Spain and second in Europe when it was launched). Ana María has ample experience in new technologies and the Internet, and was president of Viaplus, an on-line shop of the period, and Razona, a Financial Consulting firm in the Internet, as well as Executive Vice-President of Indra, the most important Computing company in Spain. Ana María has a PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, in Engineering in Materials Science, Cum Laude, and is a Summa Cum Laude graduate in Physics from Maryland University, majoring in Mathematics. Ana María Llopis has been a member of ABN AMRO Bank's Supervisory Board, until it was recently nationalized, and was non-executive board member of BAT. She is currently on the boards of Service Point Solutions, and Music Intelligent Solutions, with its website for musicians, uplaya.com. She has also held top management positions at companies such as P&G, Playtex, Schweppes and Banesto. (Banco Español de Credito) She is also Vice-President of the José Félix Llopis Latin American Art Foundation, and was one of the 10 authors of the Code for Good Administrative Behavior in the Internet, drawn up for Companies listed in the Spanish Stock Exchange 2006-2007, and has been part of the Consulting Council for Internet Administration for the Spanish Ministry of Public Administration from 2006. She offers conferences on Open Innovation, Internet entrepreneurship, and Women in Business and Corporative Administration. She is active in social networks. Recently, she was a conference speaker at the Forum for the European Presidency in Madrid, on the subject of Innovation in Europe and its deficiencies. Ana María has been recognized with awards such as the International Women's Forum Award for “Women who make a difference” in 2007, in Chicago. She lead the IWF program for leadership in 2007-2008, and was also named by The Times as one of the 100 most influential executives in the United Kingdom, and in 2005, was ranked 24th in The Mail's list of most influential women in the UK. She graduated in Law at the Universidad Complutense and in Liberal Arts/Humanities at the Universidad CEU San Pablo. She did an international MBA at the IE Business School, after which she began her professional career as strategic consultant at Monitor Company, in Madrid and Los Angeles. Ana Amelia has always had an entrepreneurial spirit, passion for start-ups and for the Internet. During the first Internet boom in the 90’s, Ana Amelia was Director at Teknoland, one of the first Spanish companies dedicated to Design and Web Development for listed companies, later acquired by TERRA (TELEFÓNICA), and then Managing Director of its Internet Business Incubator. In 1999, Ana Amelia was co-founder and COO of a new business incubator /VC dealing with technology project s in Madrid. She was also partner and CEO of a small advertising, post-production and web design production company. Echevarrieta, “Echeva”, is Director of Development and Technology at ideas4all. Executive MBA (from IE) and Telecommunications Engineer (Madrid Polytechnic University). Multidisciplinary, with a passion for innovation and technology, but also for other fields such as ethology, archeology or theology, he was associate professor at the Universidad Pontifica de Salamanca and has published over 140 investigative articles. Throughout his career in the business sector, he has always moved between technology and business: technological consultant and project manager at Qarana, financial services manager at Razona (first of the three companies in which he worked together with Ana M. Llopis) and Indra Sistemas, responsible for the team of architectural offers in the latter, and product development manager (internet and paper) at Yell Publicidad.
