I have an idea I share a problem

The best idea through Twitter

We want to get the new year started with good ideas, and want your ideas to make it as far as possible, which is why we're putting Twitter Connect ("Sign in with Twitter") at your disposal.

And what better way to start sharing your ideas through Twitter than with a competition, in which you can win a fantastic 16GB iPad.

1. What is the competition “The best idea through Twitter”?
It's about sending your ideas, as many as you like, through Twitter, with the hashtag #ishareideas

The best idea, chosen by the ideas4all team, that makes the greatest impact in the internet thanks to Retweets, comments, inclusion in blogs, etc. will win a 16GB iPad.

To take part, you must have activated Twitter Connect in your ideas4all account.

The ideas you send from Twitter may take up to 5 minutes to be published, and you will receive notification via e-mail.
Check your Spam folder.

2. When can I take part in the competition?
You can take part in the competition from the 14th to 28th of February. Once the competition has ended, the ideas4ll team will select the winning idea, to be announced in our blog and our Twitter account: @ideas4all

We will also contact the winner via e-mail.

3. How can I activate Twitter Connect and participate by sending my ideas?
There are 2 simple ways to activate, but remember, you will need a Twitter account:

1.    You can activate by clicking on “T Connect”, which you will find on the top of the ideas4all homepage.

2.    You can also activate from your “My Profile” page, under the Personal tab in the menu bar. Go to the bottom of the page to activate your Twitter connection.

That's it! Now you can take part by sending ideas with the hashtag  #ishareideas

The ideas you send from Twitter may take up to 5 minutes to be published, and you will receive notification via e-mail.
Check your Spam folder.

4. Which ideas can take part in the competition?

- Ideas can  touch on any subject, except for ideas of the kind: “achieve peace on earth”,  opinions or mere comments. They must be ideas that contribute something new or original.

- You can participate with one idea or many. There is no limit to the number of ideas users can participate with.

- For your ideas to take part, they must be considered valid ideas according to ideas4all's  community rules, which means they must not include content that is considered pornographic, racist, discriminatory etc.

5. Why is my idea not amongst participating ideas?
Your idea may not appear in your ideas4all profile for various reasons:

- You may not have activated Twitter Connect. See Question 2 to find out how to activate.

- You may have sent your idea without including the hashtag  #ishareideas. Including this in your text is indispensable.

6. Want to see an example of what an idea sent via Twitter looks like?
Here is an example of an idea sent via Twitter:

“System that collects rainwater from the roof to water the garden #ishareideas”

Regardless of whether your ideas take part in the Twitter competition, here is a small piece of advice: since ideas sent through Twitter may contain a maximum of only 140 characters, including the hashtag, you will probably want to elaborate on your idea. We recommend you access ideas4all once in a while to further develop your idea, add more text, pictures, links, categories, tags, etc. This will make your ideas, sent via Twitter, far more comprehensive.
