Ideas4all and GNOSS connect user activity through their profile page

•    Users will be able to see their latest activity in either social network, which will be integrated through their profile page both in ideas4all.com and gnoss.com

•    The initiative supports the promotion of users’ own personal brand and develops Knowledge Marketing, taking advantage of the synergy created between GNOSS and ideas4all



Madrid, January 18, 2012.- The ideas social network ideas4all and knowledge network GNOSS launch today a strategic integration of both platforms that allows gnoss users to view their activity in their ideas4all profile, and vice versa.
The two platforms will be connected using the OAuth protocol, which guarantees secure data access between platforms, whenever authorized by the user.

The technological integration of user profiles between GNOSS and ideas4all is an ambitious strategic agreement between two social networks that have been created and developed in Spain. It seeks to combine knowledge management as promoted by GNOSS with the promotion and recognition of the added value that ideas4all represents, as the platform for sharing and developing user ideas. The following are other objectives the initiative is also aiming for:

•    To generate a new space for the exchange of knowledge, based on content and services selected by users.
•    In development terms, GNOSS holds the competitive advantage that semantic technology represents in the management and promotion of the digital identity of users and organizations. This offers the possibility of improving positioning and of creating connections within a network of personal or professional interests. It is noteworthy that GNOSS is part of the Web of Data –Web of the Future promoted by Tim Berners-Lee, which has been linking over 300 data spaces since November 2010.
•    In the field of marketing, the integration of profiles offers greater possibilities for user participation in campaigns and projects promoted by either network.

Advantages for users
Ideas4all and GNOSS have over 130,000 registered users (almost 118,000 in ideas4all and approximately 15,000 in GNOSS). There is an estimated 4,000 users that have registered in both platforms. The strategic agreement entails the following advantages:

•    Development of a personal brand based on Knowledge Marketing
The integration of personal profiles represents a focus on knowledge marketing as a complement for the visibility and reputation that is achieved through conversation within social networks. The basic premise is that “You are what you share”, and there is an encouragement to share the added value represented by the user’s knowledge in a specific sector.
•    Increased personal profile / Increased digital identity
Users who share both platforms have an increased personal profile, achieved through their activity in both social networks, which makes them more attractive when it comes to adding content and visibility to their digital identity in the Internet. Also noteworthy is the fact that these profiles are better positioned in search engines.
•    Linked markets: a space open to new initiatives
The visibility obtained by users represents a very attractive challenge for either network. Shared ideas and knowledge inside a common space are the best possible breeding ground for the implementation and development of new collaborative projects between users and the platforms themselves.

How to connect both profiles from GNOSS?
- Register or sign in to gnoss.com with your user name and password.
- Go to ‘My profile’ (top left of the page) and click on ‘Edit profile’.
- From your profile’s edit menu, access ‘Websites’ and follow the instructions under section ‘Recommended website: ideas4all’. The application will ask for permission to access with your user name and password, in order to include the widget with your ideas4all activity in your personal profile.

What is GNOSS (gnoss.com)?
GNOSS (Riam I+L Lab) develops software using semantic technology. Iberia, ideas4all and Telepizza join forces in the campaign “Books for Colombia”

• The three organizations have started an initiative to send text and reading books to over 98,000 children and teenagers in Colombia

• The campaign will begin on January 10 and end on February 10, 2012

• NGO Buena Nota will be responsible for distribution throughout Colombia, in over 120 schools and libraries.


Madrid, January 10, 2012.- With the objective of sending 70,000 text and reading books to Colombian children and teenagers in a difficult economic situation, Iberia, the social network ideas4all and Telepizza have started the project “Books for Colombia”.

The campaign, which begins on January 10 and ends on February 10, invites all citizens to donate books that are no longer being used but that are still in good condition.

“Books for Colombia” was born inside the social network ideas4all, from a suggestion by one of Telepizza’s employees, who thought return trips on pizza delivery services were being underused and could be destined to achieve a charitable purpose.

How to cooperate
Anyone who wishes to cooperate will be able to make a donation, within the specified dates, at any of the establishments participating in the campaign. Also, and in order to make the collection process easier, it will be possible to contribute to the initiative from home. After placing an order with Telepizza, donated books will be given to the delivery person, who will take them back to the local Telepizza.

All books received will be transported and stored by the company’s logistics division, and will then be sent to Colombia using airplanes made available by Iberia. At their destination, NGO Buena Nota will be responsible for their classification and later distribution in 120 libraries and schools throughout the country. This will allow over 98,000 children and teenagers to enjoy donated books.

Initially, the initiative will be implemented in Telepizza’s establishments within the Autonomous Region of Madrid, but an extension is envisaged to other areas of Spain.

“We were very enthusiastic about the initiative from the start, because it combines two aspects that are very much part of Iberia’s identity: our role as a bridge between Spain and Latin America, on one hand, and as a pro-active and supportive entity that defends culture and the development of all peoples, on the other”, says Manuel López Aguilar, General Director of Commercial and Client Services at Iberia.
