Social network of business models for poor villages inspired by Muhammad Yunus view (Nobel Peace Price)

Muhammad Yunus has talked several times about the power of microcredits and how they are the end of poverty. He founded the Grameen Bank in Bangladesh which has been loaning money to poor people for creating local businesses. And as the Grameen Bank loans money instead of donate (charity) they loan the same money again and again.

An example is a loan to buy a phone in a poor village. The person who receive the loan owns the phone and she offers the service of using it. This simple idea brings telecommunication technology to poor villages which now are connected to the world. According to Yunus, the power of these local businesses is that they can be replicated millions of times in other villages.

Therefore, I have thought that a simple social network of business models could be great to gather information of many of them and to connect people who is doing similar things throughout the world. Moreover, it could be useful to manage loans like in Kiva.org for already connected poor villages by telephone or cheap laptops like OLPC.
