Hi, When ever we travel to some place lets use a public transport system, which reduces the petrol cost.

Try to keep your surrounding cool by planting shrubs, trees etc., and avoid the use of Air Conditioners, instead use Water based air coolers.

Some places are too humid to use water based air coolers.

SANKET: By using the public transport system we can also reduce the traffic in the city which helps the public to move and work safely and quickly.

I agree with Johnsreasearch, South American countries typically have very dangerous buses, drivers and routes!

I agree, but maybe the first step is to ask the governments, specially local ones, to put more bus-only roads and things like that. If not, public transport won't work at all.

some public transport is not safe in certain areas but I like the idea about ways to keep your place cool instead of using air conditioners, another way is to simply use a hose and sray your house down which is something people did often before air conditioners

Great idea but some countries have very dangerous public transport systems, it would be hard to persuade travelers and tourists to use such systems if they are used to the extra levels of safety and security on their own public transport systems. One thing I would suggest is that people walk more when they are only going short distances, there's no need for a car if it's less than 2 miles.
