EXPORT SUCCESSFUL VENEZUELAN YOUTH ORCHESTRAS/MUSICIANS EXPERIENCE. A GREAT EXAMPLE OF COLLABORATIVE PHENOMENON

THE IDEA IS THAT THE VENEZUELAN YOUNG SIMÓN BOLIVAR ORCHESTRA PHENOMENON WOULD BE APPLIED IN EVERY COUNTRY POSSIBLE.
It was Maestro José Antonio Abreu who started Venezuelan Musical revolution.
His objectives have been surpassed, not only did he obtain new musicians in a democratic non discriminatory fashion within a very popular musical environment, but also he discoverd and proved possible an alternative means of survival and carreer path for the economicaly depresses areas including urban and rural Venezuelan regions.
Today over 350.000 young musicians, performers, composers, directors populate the Country and the International arena.
Quoted as musical geniouses there are several Venezueans, the most famous id the very young Director Gustavo Dudamel is one of them.
I would like this experience to be converted into a word of mouth and become a National project for other Institutions and Governents

One of today’s uniquely gifted conductors, Gustavo Dudamel continues to thrill international audiences and bring the highest level of musicianship to orchestras worldwide. His remarkable ability to communicate and become one with the orchestra takes musicians and listeners alike on a memorable journey. He is currently Music Director of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, has recently been appointed the Music Director of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, effective 2009-10, and enters his ninth year as Music Director of the Simón Bolívar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela with the start of the 2007/08 season.
